Ben Seyfried's Experience
Ben Seyfried has been involved in motorsport from an early age inspired by a father with a passion for speed. Ben is only 37 years old, but he has an extensive motorsport career spanning 20 years in a variety of disciplines. Currently Ben is a factory driver for Aston Martin, Ferrari and Maserati.
After a long hard fought 2009 season Ben has picked up a another championship, winning the Super Mighty Minis Championship. In 2010 Ben and new comer Jason Simon embarked on racing in the endurance series The Fun Cup in which they finished 2nd in the petrol class and 6th overall which was amazing achievement . In 2011 Ben has testing a Mazda mk MX5 to then tackle a full season in 2012.
Ben has recently returned from Dubai having been contracted for 2 years to provide his expertise at the famous Dubai Autodrome. As a relatively new sport to the Middle East, the Multiple British National Saloon Car Champion provided expert tuition to many drivers with varying abilities. Tuition was provided to drivers starting out in motorsport and ‘one to one’ high speed car control to owners of exotic sports cars including Aston Martin Vantage V12/DBS, Lamborghini Murcielago/Gallardo, Ferrari 430, Ferrari F50, Porsche GT3 RS, Arial Atom, Caterham etc.
Ben was responsible for the mentoring of young talent and guiding them through the single seater training programme. This programme was developed to encourage young people into motorsport using a variety of disciplines including auto testing, karting, saloon car driving and then into single seaters.
Ben has passed on his extensive knowledge to other drivers for over 10 years working at many British National Circuits as well as many of the circuits in europe and the middle east, providing personal tuition for up and coming racing drivers and track day enthusiasts. He also instructs for Castle Combe Racing School, Thruxton Motorsport Centre as well as a variety of track day companies. Ben also works with car manufacturers such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, BMW, Vauxhall, Alfa Romeo and Mercedes assisting with client driver development; this has established Ben as a top class grade A ARDS instructor within the UK.
Having started his circuit racing career in one of Britain’s closest, most hard fought saloon car championships. He was also contracted by John Cooper Garages to assist with driving detail for promotional videos and brochures, along side his assistance with handling and stability development on their race cars.
